A manoeuverable and direction stable kayak for the medium sized paddler. Designed for rough water and ease of handling in conditions. Its easy handling makes it the 1st choice for many coaches. The Romany Classic (formerly named Romany) is easily controlled in wind with a minimum of weather cocking even in strong winds.
The kayak is fitted with the High performance glass seat, unless otherwise requested. The kayak has a low rear deck for easy rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent grip, control and allows quick exit if need be. The sloping bulkhead behind the seat allows the kayak to be emptied by lifting only the bow, no x-rescue is necessary. In the Romany family there is also a low volume model, a high volume Exel model and a surf model, a Low Volume and the Surf. There are also the Sport and Sportive Plastic models.

A lot of paddlers tend to buy expedition type kayaks when in reality they will only use them for this purpose a couple of times a year and the vast majority of their paddling trips are day or weekend trips where a better fitting and therefore sharper handling kayak would make their time on the water more enjoyable!
Once you have decided what most of your paddling use will be, then based on your size and weight you should really only need to try 2 kayaks
To be sure you choose the best kayak for you, we recommend that you try a couple of different boats first. If you are interested in purchasing a kayak from the range then come out for a trial paddle in the kayaks of your choice for a day which will ensure you make the correct choice of kayak for you.
Shipping
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@paddleandpitch.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
